Natasha Shashikant

Natasha started in the field at an after-school community centre in Bangalore, managing volunteers, stretching budgets and ending up in the classroom when the programme needed someone.
A decade of work followed: MEL across thirty Indian cities, evaluation of a $200m global youth mental health fund spanning twelve LMIC's and the assessment behind a £2m continuation funding decision across 21 VCSE organisations in South London.
The contexts had almost nothing in common except the same gap between what was being measured and what actually mattered.
That gap is what Nuvora was built to close. Who gets to decide what counts as evidence?
That question is now the founding logic of Nuvora Impact.
FOUNDER
WHY WE EXIST
Most evaluation is designed to confirm what a funder already suspects.
It measures what happened at the surface: activities delivered, outputs counted, and stops there. The dynamics that held the problem in place, before the programme arrived and those that will hold it in place after the grant ends, go unmeasured.
Nuvora Impact starts one level deeper. That means mapping the system a programme sits inside before deciding what to measure inside it; behaviour-over-time, not single snapshots; structures, not just events; mental models, not just metrics. The result is evidence that shows where to intervene, not just what to report.
