Impact Evidence Study Privacy Notice

Effective 01 October 2026 · Version 1.0

The short version

We're running a study on why organisations abandon the measurement systems they build.

  • Your answers are about your organisation's practice, not about you personally.

  • We report findings in aggregate. We won't name your organisation unless you permit us to.

  • We only ask for your email if you want your profile and the findings sent back. You can decline and still participate.

  • You can choose to withdraw from the study at anytime and we will delete everything we have obtained from you.

01 Who We Are

This study is run by Nuvora Impact Private Limited, a company registered in India. We have sole discretion of what information is collected and how it is used.

This notice only covers the Impact Evidence Study. It does not cover other parts of our website or our client work.

02 What We Collect

Three kinds of information:

  • Information about your organisation: Its type, size, sectors, where it works and how it currently handles measurement. This is the substance of the study.

  • Information about your role: Your job function and whether you hold responsibility for measurement. We do not ask for your name.

  • Your email address: Only if you permit us to send your organisation profile, the findings, or to contact you regarding a follow up interview. This is optional and you can complete the study irrespective of opting to receive information from us.

Three questions invite you to write freely. Please don't include names of individuals or details that could identify someone. If you do, we will remove them before the responses are analysed.

03 Why we collect it and on what basis

We use what you tell us to understand how evidence systems in this sector are built, used and abandoned; to publish findings in aggregate and to send you the findings.

  • Your responses are collected with your consent, given when you submit the study.

  • The invitation itself, that is our email to you, using professional contact details in a work context, rests on our legitimate interest in conducting research relevant to your field.

We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it to build marketing profiles. We do not use any of this information to train AI systems.

04 Who sees it

Responses are read and analysed by the research team at Nuvora Impact, led by Natasha Shashikant and by nobody else. We use a small number of service providers to run the study and they process information only as per our instructions.

Since we are based in India and our respondents are located globally, information is bound to move between countries. We apply UK and EU GDPR standards to every respondent, regardless of their geographical location and we use providers with appropriate safeguards in place.

05 How long we keep it

WHAT KEPT FOR

Email addresses and anything that could identify you

24 months after the findings are published, then deleted

Anonymised responses, with identifying details removed

Kept indefinitely as a research dataset

Interview notes and recordings, where you consented to one

24 months after publication, then deleted

Once responses are anonymised they can no longer be traced back to you, which also means we can no longer remove yours individually.

06 How we publish

This matters more than most privacy notices admit, so we've written down the rules we hold ourselves to.

  • Findings are reported in aggregate. Individual responses are never published.

  • We do not report any breakdown covering fewer than five organisations, because small groups can be identified even without names.

  • Your organisation is named only if you gave permission, in the specific question that asks for it.

  • Quotations are used only where they have been checked and stripped of identifying details.

  • This is a purposive sample, not a representative one and we will say so. We will not present percentages as if they describe the sector as a whole.

07 Your Rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy

  • correct anything that's wrong

  • delete everything we hold about you

  • stop using your responses, or withdraw the consent you gave

  • stop contacting you

Email connect@nuvoraimpact.com and we will respond within 14 days.

08 How we protect it

Contact details are stored separately from responses, so the two are not analysed together.

  • Accounts holding study data are protected with two-factor authentication.

  • Access is limited to the people named in section 4.

  • Free-text answers are reviewed and identifying details removed before analysis.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurred that put you at risk, we would inform you and the relevant authority without delay.

09 Cookies and this website

This site collects basic, aggregated visitor statistics such as pages viewed and general location, to understand how people find the study. It does not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites. The study form itself sets only the cookies necessary for it to work.

10 Research ethics

This study follows the ethical standards set out in the Social Research Association's Research Ethics Guidance.

Participation is voluntary, consent is specific and can be withdrawn.

We hold ourselves to the same standard we ask about: people who contribute information should be able to see what was done with it. Everyone who takes part is offered the findings and their own profile in return.

11 Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle the study information, we'll update this page and change the version and date at the top. If a change materially affects people who have already taken part, we'll contact those who gave us an address.

Nuvora Impact Private Limited. This notice covers the Impact Evidence Study and is written in plain English deliberately. If anything here is unclear, email us at connect@nuvoraimpact.com and we'll explain it.
